For me, the most striking thing about Bulgaria was its cultural diversity. I came to Bulgaria 3 years before, so I had some first impressions before this programme but in Plovdiv, that cultural diversity even more when comparing with other places, as I can see. Because I am an opera singer, I find the popularity of the opera and the classical music very exciting in Bulgaria. Also, the local music sounds so familiar and fun to me.
Bulgaria’s air smells very clean to me. It seems Bulgarian people love the nature, so Bulgarian cities and villages are very green. Also, the parks and the forests near the city makes huge difference in the people’s lives.
I really like the placemaking activities of the organisation. It encourages people to be more active and change their environment, also it may improve our knowledge about the people’s needs. It may also let us have the chance to learn the culture of the people who are living in the environment.
I wish to learn and even discover the ways of putting more activities in my life and the people’s life. Also learn by them and teach them by moving and building with them. I think that is the best way of learning how to be more flexible amongst people.
I think I could teach the organisation how to deal with the technical/practical issues in an easy and a proper way. For example, I may bring some ideas about the faster and stronger placemaking and apply them myself and teach to the others. For example, having the proper equipment for the work and arranging them for our needs is a thing that most of the time we forget, but it can reduce the time and the effort we put for the activities and we can save energy and time by planning and applying these things.
