We are looking for a Bulgarian Language Tutor for three international interns from Russia and the UK, who are currently working and living in Plovdiv for a year. The interns will be supporting the BG Be Active team with project coordination, daily operations, preparations for local events, and occasionally working with children in schools, so they will need to build basic conversational skills, some understanding of the language, and script. We hope that as a tutor, you will help them feel more comfortable and connect to the local environment and culture.
You will be working with a small group, and you don’t need to have a formal teaching qualification. The focus will rather be on the individual goals, needs, and skills of each intern. We hope that you will have the enthusiasm and creativity to support the three international young people to feel welcome in Bulgaria and gain basic communication skills in the Bulgarian language.

- You can volunteer 2 hours a week for tutoring – we are flexible and can also discuss this further with each candidate to find the best arrangement. You will have the flexibility to choose the day and time to work with the group.
